In 1803, President Thomas Jefferson purchased the Louisiana Territory from France, doubling the size of the United States. But no one knew what was out there!

Jefferson chose his personal secretary, Meriwether Lewis, to lead an expedition to explore this vast new territory. Lewis chose his friend William Clark to co-lead the journey.

Your mission:

• Map the territory
• Find a water route to the Pacific Ocean
• Make peaceful contact with Native American tribes
• Study plants, animals, and geography

You'll face dangerous rivers, harsh weather, grizzly bears, and the unknown. Will you survive the journey?
